We had an incredible night at our 23rd annual Many Homes, Many Hearts virtual Gala on Saturday, September 12th! We are thrilled that our generous supporters helped us raise over $410,000 towards our $450,000 goal! THANK YOU!
In March at the start of the COVID-19 crisis, Raphael House had to postpone our annual Gala, which raises 25% of our annual budget. As a community-funded organization, this decision to keep our community safe put Raphael House at risk of cutting services that support families experiencing homelessness.
We appreciate everyone who made a donation to our virtual Gala fundraiser to continue and expand our services. All proceeds from our Gala go to Raphael House and our Programs that help families on their path to achieving long-term housing, financial stability, and breaking the cycle of homelessness.

Here are more behind the scenes photos of our Gala production in the Raphael House Children’s Library! We followed all safety protocols to ensure we keep families and our community safe. We send a special thank you to 20/20 Productions for ensuring such a smooth run of show and for supporting Raphael House over the years!
Even though our Gala was virtual this year, we wanted to find a way to connect and appreciate our amazing Family Sponsors! Our Gala co-chairs Molly O’Brien and Laura Kim designed a special “Party in a Basket” that was delivered to each of our Family Sponsors. These baskets contained delicious snacks, and relaxing “date night” candle, wine, and desserts! We are so grateful for volunteers from Junior League San Francisco who helped make these deliveries the week before our Gala so that our generous community could celebrate with us from home!
We ended our Gala celebration with a fun virtual dance party with DJ Umami! We saw so many amazing dance moves, including a dance battle that turned into a human pyramid battle! Thank you to everyone who kept the celebration going into the night and who shared their house party photos!
