We’ve received a grant from the AEO Foundation towards our Academic Enrichment Program!

Raphael House thanks the AEO Foundation for providing a $10,000 grant to fund our Academic Enrichment Program.

The Covid-19 pandemic and transition to remote learning presented challenges for all students and their caregivers, and youth experiencing homelessness have been particularly affected. In person learning in San Francisco’s public schools has returned, but the effects continue to be felt by the students we serve.

Raphael House’s Academic Enrichment Program is built around one-on-one support for K-12th grade students. We offer extensive academic tutoring, enrichment activities, scholarships for extracurricular pursuits, and mentoring throughout the school year for both the children and teens in our Residential Shelter Program and those we serve through our Bridge Program.

With the AEO Foundation’s support, our programs will continue to support families throughout the pandemic and beyond, ensuring they have the resources and assistance they need to move toward long-term self-sufficiency. This includes ensuring children have the academic support they need to flourish in school.

Thanks to AEO, most of our kids will be able to improve their academic performance this year.

Thank you to the AEO Foundation for your generous support!
