Raphael House truly relies on the support of its donors and volunteers to help low-income families and families experiencing homelessness strengthen family bonds by achieving stable housing and financial independence.
Since 2007, Aramark and the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities have partnered to help communities thrive by promoting volunteerism through Aramark’s global volunteer and philanthropic program: Aramark Building Community Day, which is held annually in September.
This year’s ABC Day in the Bay Area took place Sept. 20, 2018, with 50+ Aramark employees giving back to Raphael House of San Francisco. Aramark volunteers helped Raphael House with shelter upkeep, painting, gardening, cleaning, and more. In addition, Aramark volunteers created a beautiful mural collage for our family shelter, which is sure to bring joy to many homeless families staying in our residential shelter.
Raphael House appreciates the Aramark team’s continued generosity, and the significant support they provide our shelter every year. With the support of companies like Aramark, Raphael House is able to work towards its mission of ending family homelessness in San Francisco.
