Volunteer

Raphael House is excited to announce that we are now offering limited on-site opportunities for small volunteer groups! Safety regulations are still in place to keep our community safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.

For over 50 years, volunteers have been essential in our mission to help families experiencing homelessness in the Bay Area. In fact, Raphael House remained a 100% volunteer-run organization until 1991 when it was established as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our founding spirit of service continues to this day. It truly is thanks to the many wonderful Raphael House volunteers that we have served more than 20,000 children, parents, and caregivers since 1971.

Volunteering at Raphael House is an opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the future of the families we serve as well as the San Francisco community at large.

Corporate & Community Partners

At Raphael House, we partner with our families by providing the resources and support they need to achieve their own distinctive success. Our collaborative approach involves building a strong network of individuals, businesses, allied nonprofits, and community patrons to grow our capacity and aid in the long-term stability of our families.

If your group is interested in becoming a Corporate Partner to support Raphael House families and receive benefits such as priority access to volunteer opportunities, please contact Community Engagement Manager, Kellen Sarver at ksarver@raphaelhouse.org.
