Valentine’s Day is a wonderful time to make the people in your community feel appreciated. This Valentine’s Day we invite you to support families and essential staff in your community! Join our “For the Love of Giving” campaign from the comfort of your home by making Valentine’s Day Cards and sharing them with parents, children, and essential staff at Raphael House. Anyone can join the fun!
Make Cards for Our Community
Break out your craft supplies and get creative! Once you choose a card design (click here for inspo from our last in-person event in 2020), write a message of support for Raphael House families or essential staff and drop them off at Raphael House on Monday, February 7th between 2 pm – 4 pm. We will set up a staffed table for card drop-offs at the entrance to our Family Services Building directly to the left of the main entrance of Raphael House.
You can also mail cards (envelopes not required!) to: Raphael House, Attn: Kellen Sarver, 1065 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA 94109.
Donate “Make Your Own” Valentine’s Kits
Your donations of “Make Your Own” Valentine Kits will help the children at Raphael House create their own valentines for friends and family members. Donations of blank store-bought Valentine’s Day cards or bags containing craft supplies needed for one child to make their own valentines are appreciated by the children in our Residential Shelter.
These items can be dropped off during the curbside drop-off time frame mentioned above on 2/7/22 or drop-offs can be coordinated with Community Engagement Manager, Kellen Sarver at [email protected]
