We’re delighted to have Heather Sager as a devoted member of our Board of Directors!
Heather was an active supporter of Raphael House long before joining our Board. She has a history of volunteering at our Residential Shelter with her team and has attended many fundraising events.
Heather serves as a Partner at Perkins Coie LLP. Prior to joining our Board, she was active in multiple chapters of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and helped found Los Angeles-based Break the Cycle (an organization focused on ending teen partner violence). Heather also is the current chair of her law firm’s San Francisco Pro Bono Committee.
She shares, “I lived in a housing and resource-compromised environment for much of my childhood. The message and mission of Raphael House are so personal to me. It is incredibly meaningful to me to help give back to the community.”
Heather has found it rewarding to learn more about our programs and operations. “As a businessperson and attorney, I’m so impressed at the level of attention to detail and finance. This is a really well-run ship.”
