The summer is in full swing—and June brought about two successful move-outs! These two families moved out of the Residential Shelter to stable housing, and we’re so excited to continue supporting them through our Bridge Program. We’re so proud of our families for working on financial stability during their time at Raphael House, and are always excited to celebrate them finding a new home.
A big thank you to the team at Goldman Sachs, who wrapped birthday gifts for nine (9!) different children in our Bridge and Residental programs. Each birthday gift comes with a book, an activity, and a personalized gift for each age group (maybe headphones for a teen, or a Lego set for a young child). And each package is hand-wrapped, thanks to our lovely volunteers!
A few months ago, our Executive Director Tina Burgelman received a surprising email in her inbox. Two middle school students from The Brandeis School were inquiring about Raphael House’s impact in the community. They came in for a tour, and made this beautiful video about our programs!
These young philanthropists presented this video to their classmates and raised $995 for Raphael House. Thank you so much to the next generation of changemakers!
