We are excited to announce that Cigna has provided a generous $100,000 contribution to fund Raphael House’s mission to help families experiencing homelessness strengthen family bonds by achieving stable housing and financial independence. In addition to filling immediate needs for children and parents in our Residential Shelter, this funding will help families rebuild from the trauma of homelessness. “Our community has always been at the heart of our organization’s success. As we celebrate our fiftieth anniversary and take our first bold steps into our next fifty years, it will be the work that we do today that will lay the foundation for us to achieve our future vision where no family will experience homelessness” says Raphael House Executive Director, Marc Slater. “We are grateful to Cigna for this crucial funding that will allow us to work towards that future.”
With Cigna’s support, this year we will provide 25-30 parents and 35-40 children with food, shelter, and family wellness activities that promote stronger relationships between parents and children.
