David Lowell, Elaine Lowell
Fr. David and Elaine delighted staff and friends by sharing some of  their history at Raphael House, which included showing us the room where they lived when they were first married!

Friends old and new came together recently when the Raphael House community paid tribute to former Raphael House Executive Director Father David Lowell and and his wife Elaine at a dedication for our new children’s library.

The Fr. David and Elaine Lowell Children’s Library will be built in a room adjacent to the Ella Rigney Libray that was formerly used as a chapel. Building on the foundation of the use of books and arts within our Children’s Program, the…

Mom and Daughter Enjoy a Night at the Ball Game Thanks to Aramark!

CAM01005

We caught up recently with Nicole, one of our moms, and her teen daughter Sade. They told us this past fall they enjoyed their first ever baseball game, thanks to our generous friends at Aramark, who donated Giants tickets to Raphael House families. Both mom and daughter are HUGE San Francisco sports fans.

“My daughter and I had the best time ever at the SF Giants game,” said Nicole. “We even got to see Willie Mays one of the greatest players of all time- Yes! The seats were awesome! The atmosphere was full of energy. I guess we brought luck because the Giants beat the Padres 8-9. What a night!” Thank…
