Kate Smith

Kate Smith is a wife, mother, medical professional, athlete and philanthropist. After graduating from Indiana University, Kate joined the senior critical-care nursing team at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, where she specialized in all disease processes of preschool aged children.  Following her 9-year tenure at RCH, Kate joined Meridian Plastic Surgery Center as the senior nursing staff member, where she also published articles with Dr. Stephen Perkins.  Since moving to San Francisco from Indiana in 2002, Kate has been active with numerous charitable organizations such as Girl Ventures, the Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Indiana University Wellhouse Society and the University of Notre Dame's President's Circle.  She is also a board member of Saint Francis Foundation and Chair of the Associates. Kate chaired Raphael House's annual fundraising gala three years running and now is the Chair of the Raphael House Board of Directors.

 

Cheryl Baxter

Cheryl has been active in many non-profits in San Francisco over the last ten years, including the San Francisco Ballet, the San Francisco Opera, Hamlin School and St. Luke's Preschool.  In addition to chairing many large fundraisers, she has served in leadership roles on the various boards with which she has been involved.  Cheryl lives in San Francisco with her husband, Ralph, and their two daughters.

 

Rick Dade

Rick Dade is founder and president of R3 Builders, a Bay Area construction company whose clients include Trader Joe’s, Sonic Drive-In, Bin 38 Wine Bar, DOSA, Patxi’s Pizza and Pisco Latin Lounge. He founded R3 Builders in 2001 in Benicia, CA, and has since built it into a thriving business.  Today, Rick and his family live in San Francisco, where he is passionate about supporting local business and merchants. Rick has contributed to many local charitable organizations, including City of Dreams, Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco, Raphael House, and Glide Memorial.

 

Chuck Doyle

Chuck is President of Business Capital in San Francisco, a leading commercial financial services firm providing comprehensive, customized and strategic business solutions for clients across the United States. Business Capital offers a vast spectrum of services, including debt restructuring; asset based lending, asset protection, capital raising and business turnaround offerings. He is actively involved in the San Francisco community through serving on development and fundraising committees for various charities. He, his wife Jennifer and their four children split time between their homes in Mill Valley and Southport, Connecticut.

 

Christina Dunning

Christina’s professional career, split between Los Angeles and the Bay Area, spanned over a decade in marketing and public relations, both on the agency and on the client side. She has developed and executed public relations campaigns for large entertainment clients such as Pixar and Orion Pictures, as well as high-tech startups like CompareNet and OnRadio.  Since then, she has co-chaired several events as a member of the Parents Association at the Cathedral School for Boys, and served for seven years on the Board of Children of Shelters, fundraising for shelters in the Bay Area that house children.   She is also on the Board of the Walther Foundation, a family foundation which funds non-profits focused on issues with education and children in need.  Christina lives in San Francisco with her husband Jad and two sons.

For the past 10 years, he has served in executive operating and board positions with several Silicon Valley start-ups as well as starting his own company in 2003.

 

Frank Gutierrez

Francisco (Frank) Gutierrez joined E*TRADE Financial in 1998 and serves as Vice President of Web Development where he has implemented several Web 2.0 initiatives, including TaskBar, Trading Tickets, and Order History and Management.  He is currently working on E*TRADE’s next generation website.  Prior to joining E*TRADE, Mr. Gutierrez spent eight years with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., where he coordinated the development, design and implementation of back-end systems required to support the Schwab One and Schwab One Access products. Mr. Gutierrez holds a degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis, an MBA with an emphasis in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco and a Masters in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

 

Jessica Kosmowski

Jessica is a Principal in Deloitte Consulting’s Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) practice, which is part of their Strategy & Operations (S&O) Consulting practice. She also serves as the Chief Marketing Officer for S&O. Within M&A, she leads the Customer, Markets and Products group, focusing on helping clients protect and leverage the customer and partner experiences to ensure that planned synergies are realized. She has over 15 years of professional experience, working primarily with clients in the Telecommunications, Media and Technology industries. Jessica lives in San Francisco with her husband, Eric, and their children, Zoe and Gregory, aged 7 and 9. When she’s not working, Jessica enjoys various family activities including running, skiing and hiking.

Jessica is the owner of Philanthropist, a high-end women’s clothing and accessories boutique in San Francisco that donates 100% of its profits to Bay Area charities.  Since its inception in September 2008, Philanthropist has donated over $200,000 to organizations dedicated to fighting poverty.  Prior to launching Philanthropist, Jessica graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and is a member of the California Bar Association.  In addition to her commitment to Raphael House, Jessica is a strong supporter of the Humane Society of the United States, where she is a member of the National Council.  Jessica served as a Co-Chair for Raphael House’s One Home, Many Hearts Galas in 2009 and 2010.  Jessica, her husband Jason, and son Henry live in San Francisco.

 

Kim Nash

Kim is the Regional Counsel of the San Francisco Regional Office for the Department of Housing and Urban Development. She manages the daily operations of the regional office staff. Prior to assuming a managing attorney role, Kim practiced as a government contracts attorney, successfully defending against multi-million dollar bid protest claims. Prior to joining the federal sector, she worked as a commercial litigation associate in a large firm, and also as a Deputy District Attorney. Kim is committed to fostering communities through outreach and education. She lives and works in San Francisco.

Anastasia has worked in the field of Finance and Operations and as a Management Consultant across a variety of industries. Her primary expertise lies in helping organizations improve efficiency, reduce complexity, strategic/corporate planning and in new product development. Since moving to the Bay Area 6+ years ago, she has focused her energies on the schools of her children as well as Raphael House, including co-chairing the annual fundraising gala for two years. Anastasia lives in San Francisco with her husband and twins.
