Agency Overview

Fr. David Lowell, Executive Director - Fr. David has raised his family at Raphael House for the past twenty three years. He worked in all areas of direct service at Raphael House before assuming the position of Executive Director. A graduate in Religion and Philosophy from Birmingham-Southern College, Fr. David completed the Executive Course in Non-Profit Management at the University of San Francisco. Fr. David is a priest in the Orthodox Church in America and serves at Holy Trinity Cathedral here, in San Francisco.

Justin Brierton , Operations Manager - Came to Raphael House in early 2006 as a cook in the Raphael House kitchen. He quickly ascended becoming the Kitchen Manager, and most recently serving as the Operations Manager. Justin is responsible for the day to day operations of Raphael House including the kitchen, Information Technologies, and general upkeep of the building.

Rommie Lucia , Director of Major Gifts   Prior to her career in development, Rommie was a researcher for two pharmaceutical houses, Johnson & Johnson and Bayer Pharmaceutical Corporation.  Her research findings have been published in the international journal, Vox  Sanguinis.  Subsequently she has worked in the development offices of The Hamlin School for Girls, Stern Grove Association, Episcopal Community Services and the Megan Furth Academy.  She holds a bachelor degree in Biology. 

Terri DiMartini, Director of Children and Family Services
Terri DiMartini came to Raphael House in 1998 as a Jesuit Volunteer after obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. After completing her year of service in 1999, she stayed on at Raphael House as the After-School and Outings Coordinator. She left Raphael House in 2002 to pursue a dual masters program in New York City. She holds a Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Masters of Science in Early Childhood General and Special Education from Bank Street College.
